(His Death) A life That Shall Not Cease

I am wondering how I die today
What must go,
And where I stay
And what to lay down in the grave

And death cannot contain him

I must die to live today
To give my very self away
What must go
And what can stay?

Cos death cannot contain him

All the things that catch my eye
Charm me most to live the lie
Or sing to me their lullaby
All of these are doomed to die

Cos death cannot contain him

The grave it yields such fertile soil
In the end, gives up it's spoil,
The earth was cursed to bring such toil
But Life and love will know no foil

And death cannot contain him

In sowing seed into his death
We worship him with dying breath
Exhaling praise, not left bereft,
Spirit raising, glory dressed

Cos death cannot contain him
